I have seen this bullet storm. I don't care. God... I wish I could stop worrying and just enjoy more games. But I am so fucking picky.

Yeah, I mean it's probably not a good idea to save it for a week, but I have eaten sushi that was saved from the day before on many occasions. Doesn't taste any different, and doesn't make me sick at all, so there ya go.

Maybe if you saved cooked fish, but sushi is raw to begin with, so no harm done, as long as you keep it refridgerated

Well I've also saved tempura, and that was fine too.
Again, this is like the day after, and it's been kept refridgerated, so I'm not endorsing everyone to go out and save some sushi for the summer. |

That Hard Corps game takes forever to download. Do downloads not continue during Netflix anymore?

I don't remember if they ever did. I always thought using anything involving an online connection disturbs the download.
Also, I played the demo of HC and fucking loved it. If there is even a small part of you that enjoys contra, you need to get this. |

Rumored prices for the NGP 2 models range anywhere between $250-$280 for the Standard Model (no 3G or extra features) and $280-$350 for the 3G Model.
The 3G model does require a subscription which will make it even more expensive once all the costs are added. If true then Sony will be loosing a lot more money than when they released the PSP based on the specs for the NGP. It also gives them room to phase out the cheaper model in the future if sales are low or a better model comes out. http://www.pspgweber.com/822/next-ge...del-price.html ------------------------------------------------------------------ 3DS release now at 4 days away for Japan and pre-orders in the UK/Europe have it as the #1 all-time pre-ordered system for both handhelds and console records. Original plans were to release the system in June but leaks forced Nintendo to push the US and European launches 2 months earlier. It is also why Nintendo proclaims the launch window being 3 months long instead of the traditional 2 weeks to 1 month long. |

I wouldn't spend $300+ on any handheld. No way in hell.
Will the non-3G model be able to go online? |

lol Fucking Hell, Sony is just ridiculous with their hardware this generation. $300 plus subscription for a handheld? I put that down for the 360 because I know the online is worth it and there will be tons of support from developers as far as games and patches. PSP was the crappy port platform for the longest time.
Also, when are they gonna start rolling out the racist commercials for this one? |

Its similar to when the PS2 would allow both 56k and broadband for online but games later were designed more for broadband speeds (Xbox only allowed broadband and Gamecube allowed both on the rare occasion it had). |

Shamelessness aside, why not port the real thing over? Does the developer have a stance either way? Are they owned by a publisher?

In an interview with Famitsu, the development team behind the Nintendo 3DS gives some info on how the development process to the 3DS occurred over time.
The original plan was for the DS successor to have 2 screens since backwards compatibility was their main goal and then start to add new features. Around 2008, the team decided to test out 3D to see how it would look on a screen with the goal being glasses-less 3D. They did this by hooking a 3D tv to a Wii and used Mario Kart Wii. Everyone liked it soo much that it was implemented in the 3DS. Late into the planning and development, Miyamoto requested gyrosensors as a way to add a new type of gameplay for games not 3D-dependent. He wanted some form of motion controls on a handheld ever since the Wii was released and as another new type of gameplay. The gyrosensor ended up becoming a backup plan for games not 3D-dependent but wanted to stand out in the 3DS library. http://kotaku.com/#!5768054/3d-wasnt...ed-for-the-3ds ---------------------------------- Microsoft announces Gears of War 3 release date pushed back from a March/April 2011 date to now September 20 and as a global release. The delay was not due to development problems but a marketing decision by Microsoft and also gives Epic Games more time to have the beta trial for the game. |

Kotaku has a new gameplay preview on the upcoming Dexus Ex Revolution game and this time there was less on-rails or set piece battles.
Not every character in the game has the same implants or even any implants that Jensen has. Some characters actually will dislike the character due to having the implants from conversations. Looks like the factory stage has a timed hostage rescue mission based on the preview build which means not much exploration allowed until after freeing the hostages. The hostages are not the real goal but a side mission in the factory level. Also shown are decisions given to the player which can impact the gameplay since a stealth decision will give players non-lethal or silenced weapons while other choices provide different routes and weapons. Upgrades and inventory stuff are done by the use of experience trees (pay for better stats) and Resident Evil 4 style inventory system for holding everything you want (limited grid/slot system). It also appears that levels have many different ways to complete to add to replay ability since there are multiple routes, tactics, and choices possible at certain parts of a level. http://kotaku.com/#!5769270/hands+on...man-revolution |

Age of Empires Online switches developers about mid-way in development.
According to Microsoft, the actual plan involved the developers switching since the original studio, Robot Entertainment, was only meant to do the initial structure/foundation and give them some experience before handing the project to Gas Powered Games to create the actual content and gameplay. Nothing huge is expected to change with the game from the switch while Robot Entertainment is set to work on a new and original IP for Microsoft. Robot Entertainment is the studio Microsoft created using the remaining employees from Ensemble Studios after that studio was dissolved. http://kotaku.com/#!5770528/age-of-e...rs-in-mid+game ------------------------------------------------------ Sony announced a $150 Full Deployment edition to arrive with SOCOM 4 that includes the game, a PlayStation Eye camera, a Move controller, a navigation controller, and the Sharp Shooter peripheral. It probably means sales for the Move's Sharp Shooter "zapper" must have been much lower than Sony hoped although the $49.99 price tag didn't help either. |
