Also, the last time Sasha was off tv for a bit the rumor was an injury and that turned out to be false so I'm gonna not believe it for now.

So I watched the debut of The Shining Stars.
They're just pretty much the same as they were before they were Los Matadores, but they have a tag team name this time, no Rosa and more up to date music, which I actually like. |

I'm not complaining though as I've always liked Primo & Epico.

Due to my nine month absence from wrestling, I've only just found out that Raw will be taped in Glasgow in November.
I checked tickets but Raw is sold out. Pretty gutted. The silver lining I guess is that SmackDown still has tickets available, but all that are really left are the "cheap seats" way at the back and top of the arena. |

Nash really making the most salient point on Bret Hart I've heard. Funny how Hall seems to hate Bret and Nash fucking loves him. |

Nash's shoots are kind of inconsistent. He seems to have heat with different guys during different interviews and his opinions on people is always changing. He's still the best shoot interview out there. Scott Hall is great to listen to as well in that he's knowledgable on in ring stuff and passionate about wrestling, but he tells the same kliq stories all the fucking time, but probably due to brain damage etc.

If they can get Ryborg and Cody Rhodes, they could be laughing with that new ownership.

Oh, and Aaron Sandow. Hire Rich Bocchini to replace Josh Mathews on commentary. And have Stu Barrett jump the railing and start laying guys out. He says he's bringing a friend over in a few weeks. Dave Bautista shows up with Barrett. They announce they will take on three TNA stars at the next PPV, but they won't reveal who their third man is going to be. During the match, TNA World Champion Drew Galloway hits the ring to defend the company he loves so much. But he turns on EC3, James Storm and Jeff Hardy beating the piss out of them and helping Bautista and Barrett pick up the win.
A few weeks later, Elijah Burke gets off commentary and says he's been misused by this company. He's a legit bad-ass and a movie star and he's now in the group. Maybe have Rockstar Spud join as their little twerp friend that takes the heat for them. Watch the money roll in with that completely original idea. You can call them "Gen-Pop." Ryborg debuts and starts squashing jobbers and starts an undefeated streak that goes on for years. Cody Rhodes cuts some promos about how this is the place to be and now that the shackles are off, you're going to see what he is truly capable of. He enters the X-Division and beats Trevor Lee for the title, who then moves into a program with G.S. Helms, who is pissed off that Lee couldn't get the job done against Rhodes. TNA signs Chris Hero to come in and wrestle Cody Rhodes in a classic series of matches over the X-Division Title, because they need something in there. The Hardys re-unite to fight against the evil Gen-Pop stable. |

TMA would be a better name for them actually. I feel like they need to change something about the packaging there.

I'll be honest, I'd watch out of curiosity. They should bring in Dutch as the booker again and beg Kurt Angle to do some guest appearances to put over their next major stars.

TNA was such a dumb acronym for a wrestling company in the first place. Made them seem like they were trying way too hard to be edgy.

How would you rename it? Something Championship Wrestling? Something Wrestling Federation? Blank Wrestling Alliance? Some sort of cool acronym?

They seem to colloquially refer to the whole company as "Impact Wrestling" which honestly sounds way better to me than TNA anyway.

NWA: Impact would have worked, but I do think that they could have used the contemporary move away from the NWA association at some point. Maybe they can call it the Impact Wrestling Federation or something. Fairly certain there is an IWF though.

Cody and Sandow teaming again would be fascinating to me. Not just because they've teamed before and were good but also because both are in the same boat of possibly going into acting and such. They could get involved in side projects that extend beyond just wrestling.

I've always thought them rejoining the NWA and changing to Non-stop Wrestling Action would be best. Impact Wrestlings probably the easiest one to do. Impact Championship Wrestling ICW, Impact Wrestling Championship IWC, World Impact Wrestling WIW. I don't know but I think ROH buying them would be best.

Heard they signed those French guys that got released from NXT but haven't seen them on Impact yet. Think they did a One Night Only match. Tag division has been cursed as top teams have left and it seems every time they have a team they want to get behind one of the members gets hurt. Another reason a ROH merger would be great as they have the best tag division on the planet.

If I got the impression that TNA was providing guys with a steady living that would be enough of a reason to keep in afloat even if the product was bad. But given that they are still having trouble paying talent and can't even stay on TV I really just wish it would either close or be absorbed by another company.

Oddly enough I would pay for an Impact Wrestling Network type of deal where they put all of their old PPV events up. I probably wouldn't pay for long but there are definitely a few shows I wouldn't mind revisiting.

Only guy I'd like to see in WWE would be ECIII, could say Ethan sold the company to Vince behind Dixies back and be brought in as Vinces hit man of sorts.
