Fun Facts:

1. The new Women's title and Tag Team titles on Smackdown aren't the first belts to have been been branded with the Smackdown name.

2. In 2005, when reigning WWE Champion John Cena was drafted to Monday Night RAW, Smackdown GM (at the time) Theodore Long announced a match to determine the first ever Smackdown Champion. It must be noted that the actual belt was never revealed (for obvious reasons).

3. JBL won the match and became the first ever Smackdown Champion. But his status as champion was demoted to #1 contender for Smackdown's latest draft pick, Batista's World Heavyweight Championship.

When I saw that it was used on Raw, I had a feeling they would be permanent. SmackDown only confirmed it for me.

I think it looks pretty cool if I'm honest, but I won't lie, I am going to miss seeing titantrons during entrances.

The sets now just remind me of the old neon entrance set pre-titantron, but just on a much larger and grander scale.

WWE announced Monday a partnership with KFC to run the stunt with Ziggler and The Miz on WWE Network broadcasts throughout 2016, concluding with the Royal Rumble in January 2017.

“The stunt plays off KFC’s existing brand campaign where celebrities such as Jim Gaffigan, George Hamilton, and Darryl Hammond play the colonel,” WWE announced.

The spot is part of KFC’s marketing campaign about there being “no room in the ring for second-rate chicken,” prompting Colonel Ziggler to challenge imposter chicken Miz to a match.

One day I said to Tommaso, when the song got released on YouTube, I said it would be funny if we had a phone, and we played his song and ran up to him playing it and filmed us doing that. I’m more of an idea guy; Tommaso is the more the go and doer guy. He has no filter and will go and do things.

So we went up to Bobby and asked him and he was like, ‘Yeah, sure. Let’s do it.’ We filmed one in the gym first, and we had Bobby do a fake rep, and I want to point out that the fake rep Bobby does is with 70-pound dumbbells. He just picks them up and rips them out, no problem. So we filmed that first one and posted it. Then it starts getting blown up online and it’s going viral.

Just watched NXT, very hyped on TM161 they truly have a different style than the NJPW guys that have come over. It's not drastic, but it's a little different.

Almost seems like Lesnar is "having fun" and "getting involved with the boys" here.

It's so hard to tell, if Heyman is always in character or if he is just so super intimidating to talk to, due to his partnership with Lesnar. Used to enjoy it, but now the more I see it, the more I feel like he's actually a real-life prick.
