I miss the days when WWE games played more like games and not a 'wrestling simulator'.

No mercy was awesome, aside from frame rate issues could be the best wrestling game ever.
on the PS I'd say the series peaked at SYM/HCTP |

I'm hoping they really slow burn this HHH/Rollins feud until WrestleMania. I know it's tough in this age because of the amount of programming, but they could pull it off.
-Rollins demands answers on RAW for several weeks, to which HHH never shows up to confront him and he also ignores the question when asked by interviewers. Triple H is strictly NXT and does not show up on RAW or SD -Rollins goes on to have various feuds, meanwhile the whole "Triple H is a coward" is threaded throughout a lot of his promo work. -Rollins gets a shot at the Universal Championship at TLC (for argument's sake), to which Triple H yet again costs him the match. -Rollins says he's done asking, he's going to find Triple H himself. -NXT has a TakeOver special later that week (or month), and Triple H opens the show with his "WE ARE NXT" bit. Rollins runs through the crowd invasion style and puts a nasty beatdown on him and it causes a big pull apart. -Triple H finally admits to the world that he's jealous of Seth, and refuses to let his protege actually surpass his success, as Seth is trying to claim a Championship that Triple H has never held. -Add water, it could work Thought the bullet point style would make it easier to read lol but yes please let's not see this match at Clash of Champions and be over by late October. PLEASE |

For anyone interested, someone on /r/SquaredCircle is running a 64-song tournament to determine the best song CFO$ has done for WWE.
https://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCirc..._your_fantasy/ Until around noon Eastern on Thursday, you can make predictions, and voting will start Thursday afternoon. Obviously the final will be Roode vs. Nakamura. |

Does anyone know if the interview Bryan did with Coach was kayfabed at all? He was saying the spot with Miz was unscripted for the most part and that they kind of just got into it.
Then Bryan didn't REALLY address it on Smackdown almost skirting the issue and transferring it all to Dolph Ziggler. Could see it all as being kind of organic and shit actually just getting out of hand, which is kind of awesome lol |

I usually hate double champions, but I'd be feeling AJ Styles with the WWE and IC belts right now. Styles beats Ambrose at Backlash by burying that forearm into his fucking face. Dolph Ziggler wins the IC Title when he kicks Miz right in his smug mug. Ziggler comes out on SmackDown, looks at his IC Title and says that it sure is pretty, and it is a part of many great legacies, but he's done this song and dance before. He's won this title five times now -- everyone knows he's at this level, but he needs to prove that he can be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. He needs to get AJ Styles in the ring, and he'll put his belt on the line to do it.
No Mercy is then headlined by AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler -- Title for Title. Dolph cuts promos heading into it about how he watched The Ultimate Warrior beat Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania 6 and all that. Styles talks about how he's the best wrestler in the world and he's beaten John Cena and Dean Ambrose in back-to-back showings. Ziggler's done at No Mercy. The two tear it down. Dolph maybe even gets a lucky Superkick off a Phenomenal Forearm attempt, but he kicks Styles out of the ring and can't capitalize. Styles eventually wins the match and walks out with both belts. Then you do whatever it was you were going to do with Dolph. Styles starts defending both belts at the same time. So their histories are continued, they're just both on AJ Styles. He takes both into the main event of WrestleMania with him. |

The Miz being a fan of Mushroomhead is so obscure and out-of-nowhere, it's amazing.

Triple H being the evil genius that he is, I imagine that he'd make Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns fight for the right to get their hands on him. Then he sends Braun Strowman out there to destroy them both at Clash of Champions. Or Gallows & Anderson.

Should be Gallows and Anderson. They have the heat on them to pull it off. Strowman isn't ready yet.

Just thinking about the booking. It's still all up in the air what they're going to do. I imagine that Rollins and Reigns are both going to want to pull Triple H's punk card right away. It would actually make sense for Triple H to get them both to fight in a #1 Contender's Match at Clash of Champions, or for the right to face him or something. Gallows & Anderson do run in during that match, which sets up a Hell in a Cell between those two at that PPV the next month.
It'd make sense if it were for the Tag Titles, but I can actually see them keeping this incredibly long New Day run going. New Day vs. Enzo & Cass at Hell in a Cell, for example, would be pretty nice. Sami Zayn would make a pretty good immediate challenger to Kevin Owens. They can have their rubber match for the Universal Title at Clash of Champions. Maybe make that 2/3 Falls, since they like their PPVs going long and can use that to fill time. Zayn can get a fall in there, which might be enough credibility to stretch things out until Hell in a Cell. |

Not the biggest Ryback fan, but he can pretty much write his own ticket anywhere, and hopefully he does just that. If I had to guess, we'll see The Big Guy in TNA getting set up for Lashley in the near future. |

WWE messed up their best shot at getting the next "guy" by A. Pushing Ryback too hard, too fast and B. Not going all in when they did A.

He continually gets it, no mater how many times and ways he re-explains what he said about Steen he gets people who "rub it in" anytime Steen does something of note in WWE. It isn't really helped by Kevin either, who will take a shot at Jim, and then flare shit up again (work or shoot is debatable, Steen might really feel that way, or he might be doing it for the reaction, who knows). People still shit on him about the Sami Zayn thing too: where he basically said he has all the tool to get over if he loses the mask and ditches the comedy spots. Lo and behold, he got the fuck over in NXT without a mask and keeping the funny stuff relegated to untelevised house shows, and even at a minimum there. The flipside, though, is his issue with The Elite and Joey Ryan (which essentially is the same problem he had with El Generico). On one hand, he has a huge point in things like a superkick being a finisher- the end of a match from any other spot on the card- but then Young Bucks do 800 of them per match, and another 300 in tandem, and they roll right into more spots. On the other, it works for them, they're over because of it, people pay for and expect to see that from a YB match, and it isn't like kayfabe isn't alive and well and they have to pretend their shit is super devistating. Joey Ryan is basically filling a niche, and is pretty successful at it much like The Young Bucks, so who gives a fuck that he won a test of strength with his cock? Not anyone watching a Joey Ryan match, because that's par for the course like watching Sandman club a bunch of people with a kendo stick whilst drinking beers. And his problem with Kenny seems to stem from thinking his facials are "too much" and going back to the matchs he had years ago with the blow up doll and the little girl. Makes sense he thinks that is hokey, but at the same time, some people embrace the hokey. Wrestling isn't always SFB, and sometimes TOO MUCH seriousness can kill a match, or a show, or an angle, or a character. Yes, he can take shit too seriously, but it doesn't stop him from having a point. And *usually*, his point is pretty spot on... until people stop listening or take it out of context. I still shake my head at the Nash YouShoot, where they play back everything Corny said, but without a) the context of the entire story of having to teach Kane to be Diesel, and b) the part five seconds after the end of the part they played back for Kev where he specifically says that he isn't knocking Nash, but reiterating his moveset was pretty limited. Without any of that, it sounds like he is just shitting on the guy for no reason, especially how Corny talks. |

Serious Question: Won't YouTube's new rules affect WWE's YouTube page since it promotes violence and some of it's material could be considered 'sensitive'?
