Darksiders 2: Deathinitive Edition.
Loved this game the first time around but never got a chance to play the DLC. All included now so yay for me. I love these games. Can't wait for part 3 next year. |

After that though I have a huge log of games to choose from. Might blaze through the new Uncharted first though as it is much shorter than Shadow of War or Assassins Creed Origins. Will def be one of those 3 though.

Playjng origins now. The size of the game is impressive. Combat is deep. Leveling system (skill trees) are good. So far im positive about it.

Beat halo 4. Game never gave me my achievement for beating one of the missions in Halo 2 though so I need to redo that. Then I will have everything beat in heroic. I probably won't go back to do all 4 games in legendary for awhile. Have Destiny 2 now and might start playing WoW again.

The Witcher 3, finally got into it, did the same thing I did with Fallout 3 and wait until all the hype died down so people at work wouldn't ruin my escapism with their spoiled view on gaming.
This game has the "choice" mechanism down pat. The quests are very entertaining and this game was tagged in while playing Skyrim on my PC(PC crashed), this Skyrim run was my 4th attempt to get invested and this time I was in it to win it. Still am if I can recover my PC from purgatory. |

Started Persona 3 FES.
Kinda clunky opening sequence and you only control the MC in battle but I've heard it gets better. First girl team mate you meet has Kawakami's VA too. Just opened up free roaming. Feels good to be back. |

PC restored, time to download my Steam library again. The Witcher 3 is top billing though. The godlings are my people, the two that I've ran across have been saved/taken care of. At no point in my handlings of them did I want to lay a hand on them.
Godling: The first one was hiding in a cave hole and was being a sneaky lil' shit at first, little fucker. Did you all hear about that lady fuckin' a chandelier? They are engaged, wtf |

Man, I think with the two DLCs, I must have spent five-six months playing Witcher 3. I was bereft once I had completed the game. As much as I loved Skyrim (and I know W3 is more story-based than Skyrim), W3 was so much deeper. I'm not sure if I could go back to Skyrim, now. Bethesda need to get the makers of W3 to do the next Elder Scrolls game.
I'm currently playing AC: Syndicate; the combat seems a bit blah to me. |

Last night on Witcher 3:
Keira had me do a lot of quests that led up to a score, didn't even know their backstory, but my wife told me that Keira wanted Geralt and she doesn't know that I'm roleplaying as a good person who doesn't take advantage of too many opportunities. The roleplaying sometimes takes an awkward turn for the worse as the decisions made during the final exchange on that haunted island, my Geralt turned heel and slayed his newly bedded lover. My wife continues to view my playthrough, it was the first time she saw me turn on someone. Usually I'll do quests like hunting beasts for peasants and tell them to keep it, but when Keira used me something "Me, Myself and Irene" went off in Geralt and he couldn't be controlled as his newly repaired blade drove through the orifice of which he just entered the night before. |

I've just cleared the second event and I'm enjoying it, the combat side of things is mainly mementos style dungeon crawling but I'm still really early. Social links are weird, you can actually fall out with them and have the ranks go down if you stand them up or hang out with other people. I'm already accidentally in a serious relationship with a girl just because I hung out too many times. It could happen to you too.

It can get a bit grindy, not as much as the other SMT titles I've played and you really only need to go fighting 1-2 times a month unless you're doing certain side quests. EXP earned is relative to level disparity, so there's a soft cap on how many levels you can realistically grind between events. Unlike P5 you will need to do some levelling. Still, getting ambushed and your MC focused and stun locked to death before you even get a turn is a real hazard. AI party can be dumb as fuck at times. Other than that it's great, soundtrack is bizarre, especially the dorm theme.

Lost Odyssey used a level system like that and it worked grest to keep you always in compelling boss fights.

Some of those tricky "Collect X of" whatever items in the original's Claptrap's New Robot Revoluton DLC (I fucking abhor dangling trophies and achievements in front of the player to goad them to basically go on long fetch quests for collectibles but I digress) that I finally resorted to the known method of farming MINAC (the end boss) where you basically just wait for him (a gigantic APC type thing) to drop the quantity of whatever is needed and then go back to hiding where he can't kill/hurt you until all the achievements are complete. |

Still have a old "tank style" DS, and it still contains Advance Wars: Dual Strike. I have it on me as I type this and will replay a mission or two later on.

Last night on Witcher 3:
Spent most of the weekend freeing Dandelion, the Bard and friend of Geralt. he looks like T.J. Miller wearing a jester costume. Did some work with Triss, helped her and other mages get out of town. She left on a ship with them and the guy that runs the bathhouse got pissed at me for not convincing her to stay. We kissed at a party, but I'm booking this one towards Yennefer's way. If anyone knows about fighting ghosts in this one, would the Specter Oil suffice for all wraiths/ghost apparations I get put in a contract with? |

Yeah spectre oil works wonders. You may want to try and find the diagrams or whatever of the enhanced/superior versions for a couple of the harder encounters with wraith enemies, such as contracts or when they gang up on you occasionally. Moon dust and dimeritium bombs also work wonders on them.
