I just saw Pineapple Express for the first time. People had been bugging me to see it for upwards of a year, and the other night I was drunkenly cornered by friends and forced to watch it.

Well I was definitely pleased with it. Great movie, great cast. A little bit different than what I was expecting I will say. For some reason that big fat black cop lady that was in the film for all of 45 seconds made the whole thing for me.

A complaint would be a lack of scenes with his mega hot eighteen year old girlfriend. While it seemed this would end up being a centerpiece for the film, she ended up being in all of three scenes.

I'll give this an 8/10. It cannot achieve the maximum rating I believe due to a complete lack of titties of any sort.

Street Fighter: Legend of Chun Li - 2/5

Loved Kristen and the [mostly] well directed action, but I probably need to blog about what went wrong with this movie. Here's a hint: shoot the fucking writer. I've never known to personally dislike a writer because of his content, but there's a first time for everything - and this guy offended both SF franchise and cinema conventions. Jesus Christ.

The Collector: can't even rate this really, supposed to be a Saw-esque torture porn flick but is actually one of the funniest movies you will ever see.

you know, Almost Heroes is very underated. I've watched that one more then all his other movies. It's really a great movie

Truly is. First time I watched it was a few nights ago, and every time Chris Farley was on screen, whether he was just staring at something or saying just a couple words, it was hilarious. The plum pudding scene also had me cracking up....

Dead Snow 8/10

Aside from being completely disappointed by the Bluray quality (I thought at first I had been sent the DVD) and the super low budget special effects, its probably one of my favorite "zombie" movies though Im sure that "zombie" in this case is loosely used because the Nazis aren't exactly standard zombies.

Clash Of The Titans - 9/10. I didn't like the last 30 seconds. There was an Expendables trailer that had ARNOLD, Willis, and Stallone inside of a church for a few seconds. I marked out.

The Ghost Writer - It's slow burn suspense felt anachronistic, but in a good way. The ending gave me goosebumps as well, I also liked seeing Ewan McGregor in something without George Lucas dialogue. 7.5/10

Fantastic Mr Fox - 6/10

Bigger Than Life - Pretty crazy Nicholas Ray film about a guy who takes an experimental drug called "cortisone" to cure some heart condition and the drug ends up turning him into a huge bastard. Delirious and cheesy but rich with subtext. 8/10

A Personal Journey with Martin Scorsese Through American Movies- 8/10

Voskhozhdeniye (The Ascent) - Russian movie about two soldiers are captured by Nazis. Really cool black and white cinematography and had a bit of a Kubrick feel to it. 9/10
