is 7/10 supposed to be too high of a score, or too low of one?
I thought that movie was horrible, and I liked the first. Second was a good sequel but nothing I wanted to really see again |

7/10 is usually my go to number for when I feel like a movie was okay but nothing special. If I go lower than that it usually means there was something(s) wrong with it. I probably would give At World's End a 5/10 because it isn't really Robocop 3 ridiculous, but it also doesn't break any new ground and does reuse all of Jack Sparrow's one-liners. The score was good.

Spirited Away - 9/10
I don't really like anime but this movie was phenomenal. A lot of underlying implications about growth and maturity and a pretty soundtrack and crazy looking "monsters"/"spirits." Love this |

8/10 surprisingly good indie flick from 2000 that stars Jesse Bradford who goes to Vegas to try and earn cash to move to Charlotte to race cars features a rare cameo from Jonathan Taylor Thomas as a street wise male hustler |

The Game 7/10
Hadn't seen it before. It was a pretty good thriller. The premise sort of dominated the movie, and most decisions seemed to be in the interest of the viewing experience, rather than making much sense. For instance, if you think about the motives and reactions to the reveal at the end, you're not going to get much sense. Still, it's a skillfully made thriller and fun to watch. |

Observe and Report - 5/10 - Had a few laughs, but seemed to be loosely strung together scenes of stuff that didnt really make a lot of sense.
Avatar - 1/10 - CGI looked cool, thats about all the movie had going for it in my opinion. |

Tekken: The Avenging Fist
7/10 It was a whole lot better than I thought it be. It's in Chinese (Cantonese), so over seas movies are hard to tell what your getting. The effects were cool, but I did get tired of them. Story was ok at first, then they rushed everything and then it was the end. Since I only played Tekken a handful of times, I'm not able to say much about it to the game. A few reviews I read thought it was ok and not the worse game movie. |

Where The Wild Things Are - 8/10
Really liked this movie. All the characters in the other world were different people in his life, or different aspects of himself. Was about a kid just trying to deal with some rough circumstances in his life, and distant/difficult relationships with the people around him. |

Robin Hood - 4 out of 5 (8 out of 10)
Good action scenes for a short film and a decent prequel to the Robin Hood story. Only thing I didn't like was the random switch from turning Robin from hero to outlaw as the ending since it was too brief and out of nowhere based on the rest of the film. |

The Sixth Sense - I knew the twist before I watched it, but I never sat down and actually watched the movie. I'll give it 7/10.

The Road 7/10
Had it's ups and downs. Some parts were top notch, while others were just a bit boring. Overall, a good film and worth the watch. |

I am tired of accidentally clicking the thread title rather than go to last page. To make that experience a little less miserable I have inserted Stacy Keibler into the first page.

The Road - Stayed true to the book, when I found out that Charlize Theron was cast as the wife I thought they were going to develop this compex back story or something, but they managed to keep the ambiguity of the novel. Despite a good director and strong actors I still felt like something was missing though. 8/10
Lovely Bones - Dumb as hell. 4/10 Crumb - Pretty amazing documentary about an eccentric "underground artist" and his two mentally ill brothers. 9/10 |

Really? Though the premise was really good but the acting from William Dafoe for his standards was awful is the conclusion was as mindless gorefest. With that said I couldn't give it any more than a 2.5/5 for me it was a real disappointment maybe my expectations on this one was a little high.
Legion 2/5 - Could basically give it the same review except replace Quaid for Dafoe this flick was just plain wrong on so many levels and I'm not even religious yeesh. Lovely Bones 3/5 - Can see how this one may not be everyones cup of tea but I found it interesting enough reminded me visually somewhat of What Dreams May Come definetly a rental. A superhero movie without one-liners is so odd. They had Rhody almost exclusively deliver them (and noted it in dialogue).

Though yeah, TDK was similarly natural with its dialogue generally.
