Why does Prichard go so squeaky for his Cornette impression? He gets a lot of it right, but it's easily one of his worst.

For some reason, when Prichard is telling that story and goes "but he didn't make it... and he died." I laugh my fucking ass off. Something about the way he says it.

Yes.
In terms of matches, Apollo Crews vs The Drifter is on the pre-show. |

According to some rumblings online, WWE offered UK-like deals to Viper, Toni Storm, and Kay Lee Ray. Shayna Baszler reportedly signed a regular deal recently.
Leaves just 2 spots left from the rumored final batch of 6 offers from the Mae Young Classic. |

Yeah, I guess it's got a bit of Mickey Mouse in there, which might be some sort of allusion to Cornette's anti-gentrification of wrestling stance. Or just a reference to him being like a manic cartoon character. It makes sense, it just seems less "on-point" than his other ones.

I'm about to watch WWECW from the beginning to try and pinpoint where it all went wrong.
LOW HANGING FRUIT: "It went wrong from the beginning!" Shut the fuck up. I'll keep you posted. |

I mean, the second episode is main evented by RVD & Kurt Angle v. Rated RKO. Not all bad.

Nah, WWECW started great. It went wrong when RVD and Sabu got busted so they put the belt on Big Show, then Heyman leaving after December to Dismember.
This is the exact moment I knew Vince was getting what he wanted and it wasn't going to recover: https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x5...-ecw-wor_sport Even then you had some good moments, like Stevie Richards arc desperately trying to become champ |

It went wrong by having it be WWE Vs. ECW.

It went wrong when they insisted on having Big Show vs. Batista headline a show at Hammerstein, and were shocked that the ECW crowd shot on it.

There was a really good John Morrison v. Evan Bourne match at some point.

Just keep trucking trough the episodes, soon you will see Benoit appear on ECW one week then disappear.

Angle could have really been the shit in ECW. So could Benoit. So many things went wrong that didn't have to.

I loved WWECW when it was just a place for guys not being used on Raw or SD to go and have fun storylines/matches.
Same thing during the period of time when NXT stopped being a competition show but before it became the developmental territory. |

You're right about that. He could've made ECW a reputable thing.
Also, Sabu was a fucking maniac. Sloppy as shit, but exciting as hell. What a legend, sorta. |
