Very few things about Ziggler make any sense to me anymore and it's like he goes out of his way to play his character backwards from the way it's meant to actually be played.
Like when he was a face he'd go up for punches in the corner - one of the most basic things you could do to get any wrestling crowd involved. But after 2 or 3 punches he'd start punching so fast the crowd could no longer participate. Then when he was a heel he started wearing the American flag on his tights despite the average American wrestling fan being obnoxiously patriotic. |

I was just thinking about this miserable brand split the other day, and how they could go about making it more interesting. I really don't know if this is a grand idea or not, but just in terms of matching up guys in terms of size and style, I divided the male rosters into heavyweights and junior heavyweights (230lbs or under). This is how they shook out (I used Wikipedia for billed weights):
Raw: SPOILER: show SmackDown: SPOILER: show I honestly think they are pretty interesting rosters. Even if you didn't overtly state that there were weight restrictions on the guys, they seem fairly balanced. Even Raw, with its larger guys, still has guys who can really go -- Cesaro, Samoa Joe, Luke Harper, Kevin Owens, Apollo Crews, John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, etc. SmackDown is lighter on the star side, but it does have AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, Chris Jericho (when he's there), The Miz, two of the New Day guys and, I suppose, Dolph Ziggler. If you wanted, instead of splitting teams like Gallows & Anderson, The Usos and The Hardys, you can send the partners over to the other brand. You could call up Drew McIntyre for Raw, Lars Sullivan to begin squashing people, The Undisputed Era might actually be taken as something resembling a threat on SmackDown, etc. Eh, it's just a thought. |

I remember thinking that Survivor Series win he had was an incredible moment, that could have helped propel him to the next level, but they acted like it didn't even happen the next night, and no one even remembers it anymore.

The visual of Ziggler, Rowan, and Ryback getting fired followed by confetti, balloons, and Stars and Stripes Forever did make me laugh really hard.

I like X Pac's podcast. But there is one girl on the podcast who seems like such a fucking mark. Sounds like a 16-year-old and she doesn't belong. #MalePrivilege

New Legacy did a random draft for Universe including random tag teams. Some of the names are fantastic.
Cena and Elias: 5 Tunes of Doom. Finisher: Out-of-tune Adjustment Fandango and Shawn Michaels: Sexy Victims Unit. Finisher: Church and State (they hit their own finishers SEPERATELY) TJ Perkins and Christian: TJPeeps |

This seems likes its came three years too late if their aim is to "cash in" on the "Outta Nowhere" fad thing. Also, it looks like Orton is giving the snowman a neckbreaker, not an RKO. |

The shirt is fine, but they really could have done more with the meme when it was kicking up.

Very true. Especially cool when you think about the guys that Undertaker didn't have chemistry with.

According to the Observer, small possibility Lesnar won't defend the Universal title at next year's Royal Rumble due to lack of credible challengers. At the moment, WWE is against the idea of Strowman-Lesnar II although Meltzer speculated they could lean towards the idea of Joe-Lesnar II as a potential match.

Cool. Don't really think the Rumble needs a Universal Title match.

Imagining Fignuts and Cool King seeing someone wearing that shirt and walking up to them, scoffing, pushing up their glasses, and saying "You realize that is clearly a neckbreaker, right?"

They aren't wrong because the shirt just says "outta nowhere" and not "rko outta nowhere." Probably gonna start having Orton use the swinging neckbreaker outta nowhere soon.

Rusev excelled in his initial push as the United States Champion and is coming across as highly entertaining in his current incarnation. I am not particularly sure why he doesn't have a more prominent position on the Smackdown roster.

Just put Brock in the Rumble with the stip he gets to choose his challenger if he wins, then have Roman eliminate him.
The whole thing has been such a dull build to the obvious Wrestlemania match that it's hard to give a shit about a title match either way. |

It's pretty clear Vince doesn't see anything more in Rusev than what he's been. I'm a fan of the guy and think he could do really well at the top of the card if given the opportunity but unfortunately the only person whose opinion matters is Vince. There's a reason he jobbed in seconds to Orton at the second biggest show of the year.

Well the other alternative is either Samoa Joe again or save a paydate. I don't see Balor as a legit threat since he jobbed clean to Kane.
