Rate the Game: Week 173
Glory to another day. We're set to close out the month of February here in just a few short days. Let's make the most of Leap Year Day this Thursday. An extra day means extra time to play games, right? Maybe even a couple of games like the ones we tackled last week? We had a double dose of Rate the Game in the form of Skyrim and Dead Or Alive. Thankfully, they are not going to end up with the same fate as those games that have been discarded into the Honorable Mentions list. These babies get to join our rankings and boast a spot of their own. Whether they're spots worth boasting about remains to be seen. Let's take a look!
█ Two very different games end up with two very different scores, with Skyrim claiming an entire full point over Dead Or Alive, as they earn a 4.33 and a 3.33, respectively. Imagine the possibilities of combining the two into one tremendous gaming experience. Is Kasumi worthy of being named the Dragon Born? A question to ponder for another time. Meanwhile, we've got another game that needs our attention and scrutiny. Let's dive into the bowl! █ Alright then. Hmmm. I can't remember who requested this one, but if you're out there, here you go. Your wish has been granted. Hopefully you'll get to give us your take on it. And I hope you all also give me your take on this noir-esque story-driven thriller! It's Heavy Rain from Quantum Dreams! This title got a lot of attention for its presentation and narrative and is cited as one of the best games ever made. Do you agree? What's your take on this interactive tale of mystery? Let's hash it out below and we'll see you next week! No matter what may happen to me, just remember Lzzy Hale gave me the bedroom eyes... ...again. |

I love every one of these shitty ass Quantric Dream, David Ca-jay banal ass storyline simulation games where you spend 20 minutes having your character wash dishes. Theyre so fucking boring and I love them. This game I particularly have fond memories of playing over a week in 2011 eating some bagels, just before I moved to Peru. I thought the twist in this game was pretty cool and I dunno, I liked the different scenarios you had to go through that the killer left for you. Its good
