I'm glad Black Adam won't be the villain in his movie tbh. Doctor Sivana, Mister Mind and the Seven Deadly Enemies of Man could all make interesting villains.

First real introduction to him I had was Kingdom Come.

So it kind of killed the character for me, because regular universe Captain Marvel never seemed as big of a deal as he was in that story.

I saw the the trailer for a Wrinkle in Time in theaters and it looked like a made for TV movie with a bigger budget. Fucking terrible.

Should get whoever did set and costume design for Thor Ragnarok. Lots of kirbyesque elements translated brilliantly into that film. A must for a New Gods feature.

Yeah, there's still great stuff out there, even within big mainstream companies like Marvel and DC. The big titles like Avengers and JLA do fall on some tired, boring tropes at times, but you get a good story out of them once in a while.

The more low key titles are typically where you can find good reads.
