Zack Snyder's Rebel Moon
Interesting maybe. Hated what he did with DC, but could be good maybe given free reign over his own universe/original characters and not ruining an existing one. This was originally supposed to be a Star Wars film he was making I guess. Looks like a few lightsabers still made it in. Again, probably better for him to not play in any existing universe/characters. I'll check this out. Quote:

I'm already out on this after hearing that the first cut released will be a PG-13 version, but then he will release an R-rated version sometime later... and then after that he will release a "director's cut" version that will be like an hour longer.

15 minutes will be scenes that are actually essential to understanding the plot but cut from the original release

That’s an unusual plan. I get it if there’s a groundswell for things like that but for it to be part of the plan is odd.

I cant see how any studio gave him a budget with his track record. How is he not regulated to small features is beyond me... at least put the studio in charge of the editing.
